The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A vintage map of the US State of New Jersey. This historical map was engraved for 'King's Handbook of the United States' by Matthews, Northrup & Co. of Buffalo, N.Y. Text is by M. F. Sweetser and the map was published by Moses King Corporation in 1891. This reproduction image has been restored and color corrected.

I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
